If approved, your Original and Signed prescription will be automatically posted in the mail for next-day delivery so you can take it to your nearest pharmacy.

Total time: 2-3 days from positive result to prescription delivery.

Accuracy

The accuracy of our diagnostic exams is defined as the combination of sensitivity and specificity variables. However, Sensitivity is the test’s ability to confirm positive results; specificity eliminates negative results. Furthermore, all our methods are validated with high accuracy (up to 98.5%).

Variables

Accuracy can be affected by various factors that our lab cannot control. Detection

The HSV PCR test is designed to detect the presence of Human papillomavirus in the sample accurately. However, a positive result will distinguish between HSV Type I and HSV Type II, or if both types are present in the sample.

Moreover, this can be done with a patient’s medical history, lifestyle, and other factors that may influence results, which should be shared with your GP when discussing these results.

Positive result

So, a positive result suggests the presence of viral particles in the sample during sampling. Upon receiving positive results, you should contact your healthcare provider for treatment. Negative result

And while this can provide reassurance, it is important to understand its significance. However, this means the exam did not detect the presence of infection at the time of testing.
