What is a Glucose blood test?
A standard blood test, but a crucial part of any health screening, glucose levels are a diagnosis of diabetes mellitus, a disease in which the body cannot utilise sugar properly. As we recommend that you fast for your health screening, the results will be reported as FASTING blood glucose results.
Why get a Blood Glucose Test?
To determine if your level is within normal ranges; to evaluate for, analyse, and screen for diabetes; and to screen for the presence of hypoglycaemia (Low) and hyperglycaemia (high blood glucose).

How does our Clinic Visit test work?
Please make your appointment online and visit us on-site to have your blood drawn by our Registered Nurse. Please note that you must present your ID for your appointment.
How long do blood test results take?
The target turnaround time for the Blood test results is 1-2 working days. The turnaround time is a guide only and will sometimes depend upon assay run schedules.
