The thyroid is the largest endocrine gland in the body. It secretes two hormones, T3 and T4.
What does it include?
Thyroid problems have several influencing factors, one of which is increased stress. A chaotic diet does not provide the necessary nutrients, and the first signs of illness are neglected, as is the absence of a regular medical checkup.
5 BioMarkers:
TSH: measures the stimulating hormone.
TT3 is one of the main hormones.
TT4 measures the amount of thyroxine produced in the gland. It controls metabolism and growth.
FT3: it measures the amount of free triiodothyronine.
FT4: helps you understand how well your gland works.
How does it work?
Please make your appointment online and visit us on-site to have your blood drawn by our Registered Phlebotomist. You must present your ID for your appointment.
Do not take biotin supplements two days before the appointment.
Please don’t take your medication or vitamin/mineral supplements before the appointment.
Make your Booking online or walk in same day to the Clinic,
Perform the sample with our staff and hand it to the Laboratory Scientists for processing.
Lastly, once your results are ready, we will send you an email with your Result. Also you can view the report in your Dashboard.
How long do the results take?
The target processing time for the Thyroid Profile test results is one working day. But the results time is a guide only and sometimes depends on sample run schedules.
Finally, Medicines Online Scientists in the Laboratory are trained by the instrument suppliers and follow strict guidelines. Procedures for sample management are strictly followed. However, the Laboratory is next to the clinic so that samples can be taken on the same day.
Missed appointments or cancellations less than 24 hours prior are not entitled to refunds. Rescheduling is possible but not guaranteed. Please get in touch with customer service before the appointment time to discuss cost and availability options.
Please note that we do not draw blood from children under 16.

Q: What is hypothyroidism?
A: And If your body is not producing enough hormones, this is known as hypothyroidism.
Q: What causes it?
A: However, when you have hyperthyroidism, your body produces too much.
Q: What is papillary disease?
A: Furthermore, Papillary issues are the most common type of cancer.
Q: And what is thyroiditis?
A: Also, thyroiditis means inflammation of the thyroid gland.
Q: But can I get pregnant with a problem?
A: However, pregnancy is not contraindicated in principle. However, it is important to discuss this with your endocrinologist so you can plan your pregnancy and adjust your medication.
What is the Scientific Data from the Instrument and Reagent Supplier?
Technology Method:
Fluorescence quantitative immunoassay
Limit of Detection:
TSH: 0.1 mIU/L
TT3: 0.5 nmol/L
TT4: 5 nmol/L
FT3: 1 pmol/L
FT4: 0.3 ng/mL
Precision and Accuracy:
The relative standard deviation is ≤ 15%. Also, the within-assay CV and the between-assay CV are less than or equal to 15%.
The accuracy of these methods is based on the relative deviation, which is the average deviation from the actual result value.
The precision relies on the within-assay coefficient of variations and the between-assay coefficient. The within-assay coefficient of variations is the variance of the result value if the same sample is analysed again, and the between-assay coefficient is the variance of the result value if the same sample is reprocessed from the beginning again.
Detection:
TSH, TT3, TT4, FT3, and FT4 are measured from the serum, plasma, or whole blood samples.
In-range results:
TSH: 0.3~4.2 mIU/L
TT3: 1.23-3.07 nmol/L
TT4: 66-181 nmol/L
FT3: 3.10-6.80 pmol/L
FT4: 12.00-22.00 pmol/L
Adults who are euthyroid or have normal thyroid production and serum levels are expected to have normal or in-range results.
Out-of-range results:
Lastly, any results outside of the listed reference ranges would be considered abnormal, and the person may be at risk for hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, and other issues.
