K2EDTA Microtainer

K2EDTA is an anticoagulant used to store blood for complete blood count (CBC) in the blood collection tubes.

K2EDTA microtainer effectively neutralises the calcium ion in blood, preventing blood coagulation.

K2EDTA microtainer doesn’t change the number or size of leukocytes and keeps the erythrocyte constant.

Hold micro blood collection tube at 30°-40° angle from the surface of the puncture site. Avoid scraping the skin surface to collect the blood sample. After collecting 2 or 3 drops, blood will freely flow down the reservoir wall to the bottom of the tube.

Fill tubes between the fill marks.

Mix the additive and blood by gentle inversion 7-10 times.
