What does it the CRP Test Detect?
The liver produces C-reactive protein (CRP) sensitivity in the blood during acute inflammation.
Why should you get one?
The CRP Blood test is performed to diagnose diseases, infections, and cardiovascular diseases or to monitor the evolution of some conditions under treatment.
What are the Instructions for use?
Please take your sample in the morning before eating. Take it at least one hour before any medication.
When you collect your sample, try the following tips:
- Drink plenty of water. Being well-hydrated will make it easier to manage your model.
- Shower before you take your sample or run your hands under warm water for a few minutes, as heat improves flow.
- Do light exercise (move around, walk, etc.) to get the blood flowing.
- Ensure your arm is below your heart level – let gravity do some of the work.
- Nails that are too long can make it difficult to collect a sample.
- Do not shake the sample vigorously, but invert the tube gently ten times. (gently swirl the line after each drop.
- Do not squeeze the finger (milk).
- Re-warm your hands during collection where needed.
1 Biomarker:
- CRP: can detect lower levels with analytical sensitivity around 0.2 mg / L to estimate heart risk.
How it works?
Order your kit online and once it arrive collect your sample at home.
Then, drop off the Kit in the morning to the Royal Mail Red Street Box. Use the Track24/48 Return Label to the Lab.
Lastly, once your results are ready, we will send you an email with your Result. Also you can view the report in your Dashboard.
How long do the results take?
The target turnaround time for result is 1 working day. The turnaround time is a guide only and sometimes depends on assay run schedules.
Please make your sample on a Monday to Thursday to avoid delivery delays at the lab.

-
Q: And What should I avoid if my level is high?
- A: Ultra-processed foods like fast food, frozen meals, and processed meats have been associated with higher blood levels of inflammatory markers.
-
Q: However, what is the most common cause of high levels?
- A: The most common cause of high levels is a severe infection. Other possible causes include a poorly controlled autoimmune disease and severe tissue damage.
-
Q: Therefore, can stress and anxiety cause high levels?

-
Q: But what foods reduce the levels?

- A: Elevated levels signal an increased risk for cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity, etc.
-
Q: Finally, what issues are associated with high levels?
- A: Well, prostate cancer, breast, colorectal, and non-small-cell lung cancer, malignant lymphoma, and pancreatic cancer.
-
Q: However, can inflammatory markers make you tired?
- A: Fatigue and pain are symptoms frequently present in acute or chronic high-grade inflammatory diseases such as infection, rheumatoid diseases or cancers.
