What is the Advanced Diet & Lifestyle Blood Test?

Food is the main carrier of information taken from the environment. This blood test will evaluate how healthy is your diet and lifestyle.

• Total Cholesterol: the total amount of cholesterol present in the blood.

• LDL Cholesterol: Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is “bad” cholesterol. High LDL levels raise your risk of stroke, heart attack and atherosclerosis.
• Triglycerides: Triglycerides are the body’s form of fat storage. They are found in fatty tissues and circulate in the blood to fuel muscles to work.
• Total/HDL Cholesterol: this ratio of cholesterol/ HDL is used to measure cardiovascular risk.
• CRP High-Sensitivity: measures levels of inflammation in your body.

• Magnesium is a metallic element found in your bone that is essential to life. Measures the amount of Magnesium in your blood.

How does our Clinic Visit work?

Please make your appointment online and visit us on-site to have your blood drawn by a Thebotomist. Please note that you must present your ID for your appointment.

• Do not take biotin supplements two days before the appointment.
• Do not take Vitamin B12 for two weeks before the appointment.

How long do the results take?

The target turnaround time for the Advanced Diet & Lifestyle blood test results is 1 working day. The turnaround time is a guide only and sometimes depends on assay run schedules.

Missed appointments or cancellations less than 24 hours prior are not entitled to refunds. Rescheduling is possible but not guaranteed. Please contact customer service before the appointment to discuss cost and availability options. Please note that we do not draw blood from children under 16 years old.
