What are the General Instructions?
Please take your sample in the morning. But take it at least one hour before taking any medication.
Home Sample Management
Furthermore, some rules exist for making private samples at home. First, you need to take the sample close to the delivery time. Do not take the sample and leave it around the home for 1-2 days. Please make sure that you get the sample to the drop box before the last pick-up for that box. But when you first take the sample, please rotate the tube six times to ensure it is mixed correctly with the non-clotting solution in the tube.
So, please ensure the sample leaves the drop box and travels overnight to our lab in the track24 return bag.
Also, you may obtain some help by visiting our clinic near me to get your blood taken. Therefore, a prompt return is required to ensure samples are not rejected at the Laboratory’s arrival point.
We recommend the following sample management protocol.
Sample Management starts when you prick your finger or make your swab or urine, using your chosen type for men’s and women’s home kits. Because your sample will arrive at the Laboratory already clotted or spoiled, it can’t be processed. So, please take your sample to the drop box or post office as close to the collection time as possible. Please ensure samples are collected properly and not sitting overnight in the drop box, waiting for collection the next day or several days later.
Any waiting time is bad for your sample. So, your sample must arrive in good condition at the Laboratory. If not, it needs to be disposed of.
When do I get my results?
The time for the result is 1 working day from receiving it in the laboratory. However, the turnaround time is only a guide and sometimes depends on run schedules, and you can also order a while-you-wait service for £50.
What is the Shipping & Return Policy?
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To qualify for any return, the product must be in the same condition as when you received it. It is not used, not opened, unworn, and in its original packaging. You will also need to send it to us with the receipt or proof of purchase.
Finally, please return to Medicines Online, 89 Falcon Rd, London. SW11 2PF
