What is a Diabetes Profile Blood test?
Your doctor may diagnose diabetes, prediabetes, and gestational diabetes through blood tests, which show if your blood sugar is too high. Many people may not have any symptoms but may be at risk for diabetes or even have the condition, so they need to be tested in the absence of symptoms.

Instructions for use
Please take your sample in the morning. Take it at least one hour before any medication.

✓ HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin): is chemically linked to sugar, and it measures your average blood sugar levels over the past three months.
✓ Microalbumin: detects early signs of kidney damage.
✓ Glucose: measures your blood sugar level at a specific time.

Drop off the parcel preferably in the morning to get the earlier box clearances. Using the Return Track24 pre-paid label on each test kit, drop the package off at the nearest Royal Mail Priority Red Box to return it to the Lab.
Once your results are ready, we will send you an email with your certificate.
How long do blood test results take?
The target turnaround time for Diabetes Profile results is 1-3 working days of receiving in the laboratory. The turnaround time is a guide only and will sometimes depend upon assay run schedules.
Please take your test on a Monday to Thursday to avoid delivery delays at the lab.
