Local Authority Care funding assistance – what you need to know
If you need Live-In Care or have to move into a care home, local authority care funding can help pay associated costs – in full or part. It’s the most common way people get support to pay for your care. There are some small differences between the local authorities in the UK. But the rules for how the funding assistance works are provided in the Care Act 2014. The act tells you what you need to know to get the funding you deserve.
