YOUR KIT CONTAINS

HOW TO COLLECT A SAMPLE

1. Wash your hands and remove the sterile swab from the package without touching the end.
2. Insert the swab 3-5cm into your vagina (Image A), or 2-3cm Urethra (Image B) and turn gently for 20
seconds. Remove carefully, without snapping the swab. DO NOT URINATE AT LEAST 1 HOUR
BEFORE TAKING YOUR SAMPLE.
3. Drop 11 drops of sample dilution A into the
extraction tube, put the swab into the extraction
tube immediately, squeeze the tube and twist the
swab for 15 times, keep the swab inside for 2
minutes before removal. Then drop 6 drops of
sample dilution B, squeeze the tube and twist the
swab for 15 times, keep the swab inside for 1
minute before removal. Discard the swab and cover
the lid of the tube.
4. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and
place it on a clean, dry level surface. Add 3 drops of
the extracted sample from the tube to the round
Sample Well on the test cassette. Read results in 15-
20 minutes. DO NOT INTERPRET RESULTS AFTER 25
MINUTES.

RESULTS
RECEIVING RESULTS
Positive result
Any faint-to-dark red Test Line (T) along with a blue Control Line (C) indicates a positive result. A positive result
indicates that the specimen is positive for the presence of Chlamydia antigen.
Negative Result
Only the blue Control Line (C) indicates a negative result. A negative result indicates that the specimen is a
presumptive negative for the presence of Chlamydia antigen or it is below the detection level.
Invalid Result
The test result is considered invalid if the blue Control Line (C) is not visible within 10 minutes.

Results for Chlamydia/Gonorrhoea Rapid Test are 30 mins – 2 hours during business hours.
